The Marine Corps Association organizes a range of events in direct support of our continuing mission. One such event is the Ground Logistics Awards Dinner, which is co-hosted by HQMC. Since 2004, this event has been conducted annually to honor the increasingly crucial contributions made by ground logisticians, both Marine and civilian to our widely dispersed Marine operating forces.
The dinner/awards ceremony is an excellent opportunity for those in the Ground Logistics community to socialize with each other and with corporate sponsors. In keeping with the vision of John A. Lejeune and the other founders of the MCA, the Ground Logistics Awards Dinner is also an opportunity for education and professional advancement. Each dinner features a distinguished speaker who addresses timely and important military issues, primarily with an operational logistics related theme.
