The Washington Post November 4 Sunday Edition Road Trip feature showcased a half page spread on the Quantico Marine Base, venerable Q-Town and related Marine Corps themes and sites in the local area. Overlayed on a map of the base and surrounding area one baloon caption recommended the MCA Bookstore at Quantico to area day trippers as worthy of a visit with the following:
"If military history is your preferred bedtime reading, pick up a few hardbacks at the Marine Corps Association Bookstore."
