MERCHANDISER/BUYER
Works with the Director of Retail to create and maintain brand quality. Select merchandise for physical store, catalog, and web store. Assure orders are placed and stay involved in inventory distribution. Review success of orders. Determine when and which inventory is to be replenished. Research new trends and product lines. Develop and maintain vendor relationships. Plan strategically and implement details. Work with store manager to create and update store displays. Able to begin and complete projects within budget and on-time. Achieve goals of organization. Effective communicator.
Skills:
· Ability to work independently and with team
· Strong communication skills with internal and external customers
· Ability to manage projects in complex environment
· Ability to design/produce catalog
· Knowledge of buying trends
· Store functionality and arrangement
· Computer skills: MS Office products. Counterpoint knowledge is a plus.
· Knowledge of Marine Corps a plus
