Membership is the lifeblood of the MCA. Regardless of status—active duty, Reserve, retired or veteran—we urge all who are
eligible to become MCA members. Each member receives a subscription to Marine Corps Gazette and/or Leatherneck.
The Marine Corps Gazette is the professional journal for all Marines. Written by Marines and for Marines, it has been published continuously since 1916, providing a forum for expression and debate on issues, concepts and matters that advance knowledge, interest, skills and esprit within the Corps. Articles include coverage of new weapons development; concepts of land, amphibious and air operations; tactical decision games; command, control, communications, coordination and intelligence; combat support and combat service support concerns; national security issues; leadership; training; education; fitness; discipline and ethics.
Leatherneck is the premier magazine of the United States Marine Corps…yesterday, today and tomorrow. Leatherneck’s well-written articles focus on all Marines—where they serve, their programs, equipment used, uniforms worn and operational commitments undertaken. Leatherneck features articles on the rich history and traditions of the Corps and those legendary Marines who made our Corps what it is today. Leatherneck also looks at the lighter side of life in the Corps through humorous anecdotes and cartoons.
MCA membership is more than a subscription to these two top-notch magazines.
